We have had off and on reports from East. The paddleboards and kayaks are in full force but the bites on terrestrials seem to be continuing to be the patterns to fish up top. Ants and beetles in red and black. Also utilizing bigger dries like the Chubby Chernobyl in purple or peacock will be a decent dry fly to use as an indicator, and much more pleasant to stare at.  Drop off a mayfly or damsel nymph 18 inches to 36 inches behind your Chubby or bigger terrestrial pattern like the foam beetle. As always when dry fly fishing is slow, fishing under an Air-Lock Indicator with a balanced leech or chironomid can produce nice fishing opportunities. Stripping Leeches and buggers in natural colors is always a good bet and can be a way to target some bigger meat eating fish. Intermediate lines are optimal but a simple polly leader will transform your standard floating line into a deadly meat chucking machine.

Suggested Dries: CDC Flying Ant #14-16, Hi-Vis Foam Beetle #14, Hackle Stacker Callibaetis #14-16, Parachute Callibaetis #14-16, Thorax Callibaetis #14-16, Last Chance Cripple Callibaetis #14-16, D&D Cripple Callibaetis #14-16, Almost Dun Callibaetis #14-16
