Water Conditions: Excellent

Water is clear and warming up nicely. Most days water temps are getting to the mid 50's. The warming spring weather is instigating nice hatches and the fish are getting more active.

No snow at all on road to Hot Creek and the gate is open to the canyon section

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Excellent

There are solid hatches of midges in the am, followed by BWO's mid-da and caddis by the afternoon. Some grea t dry fly opportunities can be had most days.

Recommended Flies:

-NYMPHS-
#20-22 WD-40 in Olive or Black, #18-22 Zebra Midges, #18-20 Pheasant Tail, and #16-18 Scuds in Olive or Grey. Add #18 Copper John's to the list.

#18-20 Hatchmaster BWO, #18-20 Comparadun BWO and #20-26 Parachute Adams
