EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Razor clam digs are cancelled for today, including tonight’s digs.
WDOH has determined that coastal clamming will need to close due to unsafe conditions (domoic acid levels are too high).
All coastal beaches are closed to razor clam digging effective immediately, including digs scheduled for today: Oct. 21 at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, and Copalis.
To emphasize: All razor clam digging in the state of Washington is currently closed as of now.
This closure is an effort to protect your health and the health of Washingtonians. Thank you for your cooperation and please spread the word.
