Look where we live this is super season for fishing! We are getting a few stripers up on Lake Mohave. The best action has been up near the basin with mostly trolling and anchovies producing the best.
There has been some rumor of a few stripers near the Davis Dam and a few small mouth bass being landed along the shelves using various plastics. Here below the Dam has been a bit slow for stripers the casino area has been unusually quite. The trout action is doing great. Our local angler Tony Howerton brought in a limit of rainbow trout he landed near Rotary Park using his favorite spinner a rooster tail he said it was a green color.
We are getting a few stripers mostly in the 1 to 3 pound range and a bit down river near the nature center. There has been a few near the Big Bend area but that has slowed some. I am assuming that after this cold front we should be getting some of our larger stripers heading this way.
No word from the Marsh area but we should be getting some water fowl action in that area so they usually close areas there for hunting.
Hope this helps for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story. Thanks so much for all of your support Now Go Catch A Fish Rusty Riviera Marina 520 Riviera Blvd. Bullhead City Az 928-763-8550
