ITS OFFICIAL WE HAVE A NEW LAKE RECORD TROUT OVER 20 POUNDS!!
 
Juan Garcia from ElDorado brought his kids out fishing yesterday and landed the biggest trout ever caught at Lake Amador to date! It was a hookjaw male CUTBOW that tipped the scales at 20.12 lbs and he smashed our old record by 3lb 6oz .
 
Juan was fishing on the Dam using chartreuse Power Bait when the beast took him for a ride and the coolest part is we saw the whole event happen and heard the screams of joy once it was in the net. Nice catch Juan your now the record holder for Cutbow Trout at Lake Amador!!!

The average surface temp is finally around 70 degrees so we released 600lbs of AMADOR GOLDS today at the Dam and everything looked great! With a successful opening plant we expect to release 2000 POUNDS next week with half CUTBOWS and half AMAGOLDS.
