With the colder weather and cooler water conditions, bass have been biting more consistently on various soft plastic baits throughout the day as to hard baits like before. Some anglers are still getting the occasional bite on deeper diving jerk baits and crank baits but most action has been from senkos, roboworms, and craw style baits. Drop shot has been working well to get deep and fish the structures with finesse while senkos on the steeper walls have also been getting bit throughout the day as well.

Many anglers have either been rolling for stripers around the lake or spooning off of deeper points and coved to come across the stripes a bit deeper with the cold weather. The shoreline has also been producing lots of fish using sardines, anchovies, mackerel and chicken liver. Carolina rigged alone the rip rap by the tackle shop or the points past the beach.
