The Coquille Basin steelhead rivers are currently high and muddy but should be fishable by or before the weekend. Steelhead fishing in the Coquille Basin has been slow but anglers are catching a few fish each day. It looks like there are very few 2-salt steelhead returning this year, these fish typically make up the large portion of the run each winter. The South Fork Coquille has been very busy with lots of drift boats throughout the lower river.
