Largemouth bass are becoming more active near structure and vegetation in the Las Vegas Bay area. Anglers are recommending soft plastics in pearl and green pumpkin fished slowly with a finesse presentation. In the Boulder Basin, stripers are taking anchovies from shore anglers in the late afternoon and evening hours. Boaters are having luck when using live bait in 30 to 40 feet of water. For a catfish bite, try fishing anchovies, corn, or stink baits off the bottom.
