Ice fishing has been good over the past few weeks, but sunny days and warming temperatures will soon start thinning the ice. Please check with the folks at Spring Valley State Park (775-962-5102) for current ice conditions. Anglers have broken a few holes through the ice along the dam. Weather is expected to be sunny for the rest of the week.
