South Fork Reservoir is ice free with just a bit of ice in some of the coves. Fish are moving into the shallows and fishing has been fair to good depending upon the day. They are hitting on chironomids (snowcones, blood worms, frostbite chironomids, red/silver zebra midges) and small hares ears and copper Johns. Black leech patterns are also working and on days with chop on the water a black and bruised balanced leech about three to five feet under an indicator should work.
