The Nestucca is pretty much in prime condition right now, but is predicted to jump up about a foot on Friday. It’s hard to know if that will be enough to put it off color or not. If the hydrograph is correct it should be back on the drop Saturday; in good shape by Sunday and into next week. The Nestucca has bright hatchery fish coming in all the way into April, as well as catch-and-release opportunity for wild steelhead. The fishing has been fair this year when the river is in shape, and there are some big fish around!
