Steelhead fishing on the Wilson has been slow to fair this season; there have been some really good days, but the past couple weeks have really dropped off. It is low and clear which has made fishing challenging. Hopefully the little bit of rain predicted for late this week will be enough to add some color and get fish moving. All that said, there are still hatchery and wild steelhead available throughout the system (catch-and-release only for the wilds). Check the low water tips in the “Rivers and streams” section of this report.
