The Caples Lake Resort has started opening up this last week. They are renting boats and the boat lunch is also open. Gary McDonald from Gardnerville NV caught a nice 7.5 mackinaw trolling last week. The CDFW planted brown trout last week and has a future plant of rainbow trout. The EID day use facility is scheduled to open this weekend. The resort should be fully open before Memorial weekend.
