More anglers over the past week have had luck catching stripers from the shoreline by the canal at the entrance booth and off the rip rap by the swim beach using various cut baits like mackerel, sardines and lugworms as well. Heavier weights with longer leaders have been working better with all of the winds in the area to help mage the water currents and winds while sinking bait.

Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been starting to bite more frequently off a bigger variety of baits like crank baits, jigs, and swimbaits along with roborworms, senkos and other creature style baits.

We have received our final trout plant of the season Last Tuesday the 11th and most anglers have had some luck form the shoreline using nightcrawlers and powerboats but most trout that have been caught have been from out further on the other side of the lake down deep.
