Fishing at Stampede Reservoir is like shooting fish in a barrel due to the reservoir having lower than normal water levels this time of year. The kokanee bite is still red hot, but unfortunately the fish are small in size around 6-9 inches. Anglers are seeing the best Kokanee bite near the boat ramp and the dam. Anglers are also catching some macks in front of the dam in 120 feet of water. The water level around the boat ramp is low so be cautious when launching any boats.
Stampede Reservoir is currently at 41% capacity.
