The bass bite really picked up by the end of the week, and those who braved the heat and bait traffic over the weekend were rewarded. Muddy waters conditions had the fish up on the bank and biting jigs, senkos, frogs, wake baits etc. The red ear bite came on as well, with several anglers scoring some nice 1-3 pound fish. Bluegill action remained fair for for .33 to 5 pounds. Drop shotting nightcrawlers was the best for both species. Catfish went unreported to the concession.
