Trout fishing will be good right at sunrise and then die off throughout the day. The fish will bite night crawlers fished 2 feet below a bobber. Weedless hooks are recommended for bass lures. They will allow more time to fish and less time pulling plants from the end of your line. Bass are active and hitting on jigs and imitation plastics. Crappie action is picking up at Haymeadow and Cold Springs Reservoirs. Anglers are using small jigs and night crawlers. Aquatic vegetation is growing high in some areas.
