Well this morning was both opening day of the upper stretch of the river for trout from kewswick to 44 bridge and salmon Descutes bridge to the redbluff diversion dam .My clients today have fished in this day since 2010 and we do a annual Early salmon fishing and migrate to the trout up river .We'll that's what we did ,we left the river in the morning after landing 4 kings them pioking up and hitting the sundial bridge area for trout .We landed over 39 in a few hours of fishing .Pretty good opener surprising many anglers with every one catching salmon.
