Water Conditions:

As of 7/3020the flows are at 58 above the Hot Creek confluence. Water is slightly off color and fish are scattered.
They're still keeping Grant Lake full and haven't started running water through the tunnel.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:

This is the time of year we see fish moving back into the O as Crowley warms. Fishing is average below the bridge with little planting of fish being seen.A few larger lake fish are moving up but overall fishing is tough. Fishing above the bridge has been picking up.
There are a fair number of holdover planters but they are much more scattered than the20last couple of years and also spookier with the low flows. Lots of small eager fish eating dries, especially from 6-9 a.m.during the Trico emergence and spinner fall and also for the evening Caddis and male Trico hatch. The caddis are on the water in the A.M. and P.M. Streamer fishing is also a good way to go.
Also hoppers are around and are always a good choice especially when the wind is up in the afternoons.
