We departed under breezy conditions with the last part of the outgoing tide. A bit of a challenge positioning the boat for drifting bait, but we hooked and landed a few pretty quick and the group was off to a great start. We lost the tide so made a move to some incoming current and we were greeted by biting fish within minutes. The wind came steady so I moved down to another area for some protection and switched over to trolling. We hooked and landed fish every pass and we kept what we needed for boat limits so the guys were happy and ready to get on the road before lunch time.
