The Bass bite has been fair on finesse techniques fished in 20’ to 30’ of water. Still waiting for the open water boils to develop, but no action as of yet. Bluegill still showing on drop shot nightcrawelrs in 15’ of water in the Barona, and Kimball arms of the lake. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

The bass bite was fair last week, most fish coming out 20' to 35' of water on finesse baits. Quite a few suspended largemouth following silversides. It shouldn't be long for the bait to get pushed to the surface, with the largies feeding up on top. Bluegill, and red ear still taking drop shot nightcrawlers in the backs of cuts, and coves Catfish went unreported to the concession. ...... Read More

Bass fishing was fair last week, most of the largies coming in on finesse baits fished in 20' to 30' of water. There  also have been some fish suspended on schools of silversides, but have been difficult to catch.  Still a few bluegill, an red ear taking nightcrawlers fished on drop shot rigs. Once again some big blue catfish have been spotted visually, but no catches were reported to the concession last week. ...... Read More
