The park remains closed to visitors and fisherman alike during the weekdays. We are still open on weekends. We will re-open for weekday fishing at the start of trout season, usually the second Saturday in December.

Catfish can be caught throughout the lake, but are particularly active at either end. Lake Wohlford cats are most frequently caught using chicken liver, or cut mackerel.

Mostly small to medium sized bass being caught. Largemouth Bass can be found lingering around structure. The bass are hitting plastic frogs, crawdads, and jerk baits.
