As we these large storm systems push into the area the water temperature is dropping, the bait balls are spreading out and so are the fish. The lake is in transition right now while water temperatures drop and the fish start slowly moving in. These cool systems will shorten this typical “slow” season as the temps drop. With November right around the corner we are looking forward to stripping flies and hucking that little orange ball out from the comfort of custom chairs. An exciting month as these fired up, bait filled monster cutthroat are still as hot as can be on a fish filled diet.
