Trout fishing has remained excellent from both boat and shore. Trolling anywhere from the observatory to the dam is working well. Small spoons and plugs and live night crawlers are all excellent choices, just keep your baits and lures in the top 10 feet of the water column. All of the points along the north shore are holding fish as well, so tossing out some Powerbait or an inflated night crawler on a 2 to 3 foot leader about 15 or 20 feet from the water’s edge is a great way to get bit. Garlic, corn, and salmon egg scented baits have been getting the most action.
