We will be closing the cabin for the winter soon, but the lake is available for day fishing. The rains have definitely given the lake some color. Fish are keying on leeches, dragonfly and damsel nymphs. It is a Crystal Bugger deal going on right now. In the mornings the midge hatches will have fish looking up, so take your Grifffith's Gnats out of the box and tie them on. Fishing Zebra Midges under a dry like a small Parachute Adams is also effective. Zack's Balanced Damsel under an indicator is deadly here. And for now, beetles during the day fished near the shore will always pick up cruising fish.
