It’s still a challenge, but well worth the effort out at the salty pond. That switch hasn’t flipped yet, but you will find cruisers popping into the strike zone from time to time. Seems like the early mornings and late afternoons are best, however you will find a random grab or two throughout the day. We favor chasing them with streamers (The Yak seems to come through pretty well for us) but don’t discount the leeches under the indicator, they will get the job done as well. Search, be patient, and don’t miss those grabs. We are looking forward to this cold snap moving in, and really looking forward to the rest of December and January as the bite will fire up soon!
