Sacramento--They're here! The vanguard of the striper run, that is. Anglers were finally getting into some pretty good action on schoolies from 18 to 28 plus a smattering of fish up to 20 pounds. The hottest action seemed to be at the mouth of the Feather River, which was also producing a few sturgeon, but anglers were catching fish at Bryte Beach and below the locks on the Yolo side. Soaking sardines was working better than trolling.
