We have arrived at the final week of our 2021 Sacramento River King salmon season.  The weather forecast for the week looks pretty wet here in the Redding area, but if the flows stay relatively low, our last week of salmon fishing will be a go!  The water is cold and a bit off color, but we've had a pretty good late fall salmon season.  There are definitely a good number of salmon around, its the cold water bite that has been hit and miss.  Overall we all agree that this has been a good year compared to past seasons for late fall Kings.  Last week yielded our biggest late fall King which tipped tha scale at 38 lbs.  It was a beautiful fish our lucky client who caught it will surely remember this salmon as one of his best ever.  We're already taking reservations for next years King salmon season on the Sacramento River.  Stay tuned for updates and salmon fishing reports when the river opens again in July of 2022.  We truly appreciate all the great people who came out to fish for King salmon with us this year.  It was a privilege to fish with so many wonderful people, and we can't wait to share our love of fishing with everyone again next year.  We wish everyone the very best this holiday season and hope we all have a great new year.
