Smallmouth are showing an interest in plastics and spinnerbaits

Anglers are bringing in rainbow trout below Willow Beach. The fish are taking PowerBait, worms, and Rooster Tails. Panther Martin spinners, Super Dupers and Li’L Jakes can also be productive.
Black bass are showing signs of spawning in coves with vegetation. Smallmouth are showing an interest in plastics and spinnerbaits. Striper fishing has been hit or miss, but some anglers are finding action out of Willow Beach and above Davis Dam. The fish are biting anchovies and jointed swimbaits.
