We have been having fantastic weather on Detroit Lake. The fishing has been a bit grind and hunt. But for those of us who love the kokanee hunt we continue to pursue those silver bullets. Thank so very much to Art ( happy b-day) & Gilbert for joining me in this hunt. We did manage to put four kokanee and 9 really nice trout into the box. The lost fish count was somewhere around 15, more or less.....I was marking fish all around the island from the surface to 125 feet. Water temp today was 58. Not many boats on the water. The active lures today were the kokaneekid pink twisted hoochies, orange spin n glow and the wonder bread. Everything was driven by the arrow-fast dodgers. My Santiam rods are the very best.....Thank You Jay for these rods !!!!
