The Little Truckee River is fishing great as well. The river has consistent flows around 200 CFS and the wading is easy for anglers. Anglers should expect to see hatches throughout the day here.

Tips for the Week
A couple of tactics anglers can try this week on the Little Truckee for good success are tight line nymphing or dry fly fishing. Anglers dry fly fishing should look for dry fly action on the slower, open water. Fish the slower water adjacent to the main current. Small flies and light tippet will produce the best results.

Blow torch size 16, Burkes split case pale morning duns, radiation baetis size 18, red zebra midge size 18, or hackle stacker pale morning duns
