Pyramid held at 93 percent of capacity, and fishing pressure has been low. Bass anglers reported a good bite on Texas rigged six-inch brown worms, drop shot and Senkos. The bite has been tight to shore out to 25 feet deep. Bigger fish were reported by anglers using creature baits and jigs on main and secondary points. Crankbaits took large and smallmouth in the mornings, and jerkbaits and topwater worked well near the emerging weed beds. Bait anglers reported limits of striper near Yellowbar, the Marina, and Chumash Island. Carolina rigged cut sardines worked well for shore anglers, and boat anglers dropped weighted and unweighted sardine chunks straight down into 25 to 50 feet of water. One local angler scored easy limits of smaller linesides trolling flies on leadcore line. The catfish bite remained solid for anglers soaking chicken liver, dip bait, and cut baits.
