Our early season lull will yield to improved catch rates in just a few short weeks as salmon continue tp enter the lower river and subsequently shoot up to the cold water stretches in Anderson, Ca.  There are lot's of Kings as far up as the Barge Hole but they are pretty finicky early in the season.  Most anglers are drfit fishing roe, hover fishing, or backtrolling plugs in holding water here on the upper sections of the Lower Sac.  This next full moon is usually responsible for the first big push of Kings from saltwater so we're really looking forward to that happening soon.  When the main run enters the river, things are gonna get real crazy, real fast.  We still have some dates available so give Jaynie a call at (530) 510-2925 if you are interested in getting into some of the bigger salmon we've seen in years.
