The Metolius has been fishing well. Nymphing has been the most consistent but dry fly opportunities have been around some days as well and Golden Stones, a variety of caddis, and PMd’s and BWO’s should all be in your Metolius box. A dry-dropper setup with a golden stone up top and a perdigon or similar below is a fun way to target some fish on the surface and subsurface simultaneously. As always, streamers stripped, swung, or fished under an indicator will attract bulls. Swinging sculpin and other smaller streamers is a good way to target larger trout as well.
