Both Big and Little Virginia got loads of fish this week from Oregon, purchased by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, needless to say the fishing up there has been really good the last couple days with lots of anglers reporting catching and releasing as many as 20 fish a day. Lure anglers have been doing the best with Kastmasters, Thomas Bouyants and Sierra Slammers while bait anglers have been doing well with mice tails, pinched crawlers, inflated night crawlers and power bait. Fly anglers have been enjoying success with mini leeches, stillwater nymphs, wooly buggers, soft hackles and even some top action with beetles and hoppers.
