FISH REPORT

Stocking: The lake was stocked with 1,000 pounds the week of August 15th. The next stocking will be the week of September 5th where another 1,000 pounds will go into the lake. The lake has been stocked with 5,750 pounds of catfish so far this season. The full catfish stocking schedule can be viewed HERE.

What's the catch? As you can imagine, the bite was slow this weekend with the extreme heat. The bass and catfish were sluggish. The storm on Saturday night churned up the lake a bit, so the early Sunday morning  bite picked up a little. We heard reports of Bluegill caught on wax worms in some of the shallower coves.

Don't forget to send us pics of your catch! You can tag us @lakejennings on social media or email them to [email protected].

Conditions: The surface temperature is around 80.1 degrees. With the water draw last month, there is more shoreline to fish! The rangers are working to get some of the tulles cleared to create even more fishable shoreline. New moon is the last weekend in September. The days are already getting shorter. The sun is rising around 6:25 a.m. and setting about 7:09 p.m. For a complete weather report in Lakeside, click HERE.
