It's the time of year hunters wait for all year long! This coming Saturday, October 15, is opening day for both the Northwest Zone and South Zone (except for Moapa Valley) waterfowl hunting seasons, along with the statewide chukar and quail seasons!
Small game hunting is a great way to get out and experience Nevada's landscapes with family and friends.
Waterfowl hunters can purchase a federal duck stamp or Carson Lake WMA permit by logging into their account at ndowlicensing.com.
View our small game regulations here. If you plan on chukar hunting, see the Nevada Chukar Forecast to help you plan your chukar hunt.
