Steelhead fishing on the Wilson was slow over the weekend, although there were still a few fish caught. The Wilson is getting a little bump today but will be right back to low and clear by Thursday and through the weekend. In addition, we are expecting some cold nights this week which will drop water temperatures and could stall fish movement.

There are hatchery and wild steelhead (catch and release only for wilds) throughout the fishery, and fresh hatchery fish still coming in. The hatchery run on the Wilson last through early April. The Wilson has some popular drift boat runs and a lot of bank access off of Highway 6.
