Despite afternoon winds, fishing has been good in recent days. At Haymeadow, anglers have been reeling in rainbow trout with dark-colored Woolly Buggers. Nymphing patterns, like red or black zebra midges, are also good options for fly fishing. Crappie action should pick up soon at Cold Springs. Bright colored tubes are great options for crappie and trout in late spring.
