The reservoir is currently at 74,000 acre feet. We do not advise that you launch any boat or jetski in the water at this time. Underwater hazards such as stumps, sand bars, rocky areas, etc. are a few feet from the surface of the water. If you choose to launch, you are doing so at your own risk. We anticipate the water level to flucate drastically over the summer. When the appropriate water level exists, we will lower the docks back in the water. Until then, both boat ramp areas are closed at this time. State Parks does not control, or have any influence on the water levels. Water levels are controlled by Truckee Carson Irrigation District.
