Access to the lake through deep snow from the campground gate or Walton Sno-Park may require a ½ to 1 mile trek on snowshoes or skis. As always, anglers are encouraged to use caution and evaluate ice conditions before venturing onto frozen lakes. No recent reports.

for Wednesday, April 26th, 2023Crooked River: Steelhead are now actively spawning in the Crooked River basin
Davis Lake: The water level remains extremely low
Haystack Reservoir: The reservoir is currently 88 percent full
Hood River: Winter steelhead are still in the Hood River
Odell Lake: Deep snow drifts and ice coverage
Prinevile Reservoir: Prineville Reservoir is filling quickly and is 61 percent full
Wickiup Reservoir: The reservoir is currently 65 percent full
Detroit Reservoir: Currently the reservoir is slowly filling and Mongold boat ramp is available
Alsea River: This will be the last weekend for winter steelhead fishing in the Alsea basin
Siletz River: Going into the weekend the Siletz will be your best bet for winter steelhead
Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant is 60 percent full
Fish Lake : Fish Lake is at 46 percent full
Garrison Lake: Trout fishing has been excellent
Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is at 31 percent full which is more than at this time last year
