Rusty Riviera Marina in Bullhead City, Arizona, has been a popular spot for anglers to catch rainbow trout and striped bass lately. Local angler Gerry Ward showing off his limit catch from Rotary Park. Ward had success fishing from shore and casting his favorite trout jig in a brown pattern.
Another local angler, Josh Verkamp, and his son Nathaniel Archer had a successful day fishing from shore on the Nevada side near the Nevada state park. They caught a 15.56-pound striped bass that was 33 inches in length, using anchovies as bait.
The marina reports that due to the windy weather, there hasn't been much action on Lake Mohave yet.
However, a lady angler recently reported that the Topock Marsh area has been a great spot for catching stripers and largemouth bass, with catfish also starting to bite. While the stripers caught in the marsh area may not be as large as those in the cold river water, they still make for a fun catch and may lose some of their sharp color.
Hope this helps some for now and we so look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story, mostly thanks so much for all of your support.
