Fishing Conditions

Well the good news is that the San Miguel is opening up.  The bad news is that it’s rising with snowmelt.

High water nymph rigs will be your friend, but fishing will be tough right now unless we get a few cold days to tame the flows a bit.

Patterns/Bugs

Nymphs: Copper Johns 12-18, Orange Crush, Zebra Midge 18-20, BHFB Pheasant Tails 14-18, Guide’s Choice Hairs Ear 12-16, Barr’s Graphic Caddis 14-18.  SJ Worms, Pat’s Rubberlegs #6-12.
