The last couple days the striper bite has been on fire. Our contacts reported excellent striper action with Get Bent Jerkbaits, flukes, Duo Realis 130SP, lug worms, night crawlers and cut sardines. The bites been wide open and the linesides have been chewing about anything thrown in front of them. Bass anglers also did well on topwater with poppers working the best. Largemouth took finesse baits in green pumpkin, black, and bait fish colors. Bass anglers worked their finesse baits in slower moving water. The Catfish bite took off this week with dip bait, chicken liver, and fresh shrimp off the bottom.
