Crane Prairie has been fishing more consistently than early in the season. Damsels have been the ticket recently and dries fished on top and nymphs stripped on intermediate and hover lines have been effective. Callibaetis are trying to gain some ground and have been spotted but no major hatches reported yet, nymphs under an indicator are always a good bet though. Leeches, chironomids/midges, damsels, two-bits, and assassins are all good flies to have under the indicator right now. Sounds like there may be a bit of an algae bloom starting and the color in some parts of the lake is a little off, we will keep you updated on this.
