The lake continues to fish well primarily in the mornings and evenings. Early in the morning and later in the evening when the sun is off of the water you can fish topwater towards the banks. The bass are definitely keyed in on Crayfish. A Titan taper sinking line will get you down into the clay banks, fish a Pumpkin or Rootbeer Grim Reaper, a Whitlock Scorpion in Rootbeer, or a Bouncing Crayfish. If you are in a boat, cast it and walk it down the bank, eats will be subtle. Float N' Fly action can still be happening, you may have to find a bait ball and / or drop your fly as deep as you can fish it. After this week we will see the temps warming up and the top water early and late bite should be on.
