The reservoir has been changing daily, the water is rising every day and as of yesterday it was around 85% full. The trolling seems to have slowed down quite a bit with just a handful of fish still being caught that way, the still fishing up in the channels in Buckeye Bay, off of Rainbow Point as well as right out in the middle of the pond seems to be where most of the action is lately. Lots of fish up to nearly 9 pounds have been being caught. We haven’t heard any reports yet from fly anglers but I think now would be a good time to do some stillwater nymphing up in those channels. For bait nightcrawlers have been the number 1 with mice tails, pinched crawlers and powerbait also having some success. The trollers who are having some success are using crawlers, small Rapalas, speedy shiners and Thomas Bouyants.
