Fishing for stripers has continued to be good throughout Lake Mead. Anglers have had their best success in the early mornings, but some have stayed on later in the morning to chase boils. Boils have been popping up all over Boulder Basin in waters deeper than 50 feet. Poppers have worked well in the mornings, while later in the day plastics off the bottom have enticed black bass. Catfish have been caught along drop offs with cut anchovies while fishing for stripers.
