Striper Fishing Update
Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We've been having some success catching nice-sized stripers along the shores of the Colorado River below the Davis Dam. Local angler Mario Escorpiso recently had a successful fishing trip from the shore near the Davis Dam on the Nevada side, landing a striper weighing 16.18 pounds and measuring 37.5 inches in length. Mario used his favorite lure to hook this impressive catch.
I've also heard positive reports about fishing in the Big Bend area near the park, as well as the Community Park area. Additionally, there have been reports of a few trout being caught along the shores in both Community Park and Rotary Park areas.
Recently, an angler stopped by and informed me that trolling in and around the coves near the power lines has been productive for catching stripers. While I haven't received much information from the Topock Marsh area, the largemouth bass bite should be good, and there have been some catfish catches as well.
We hope this information is helpful, and we look forward to seeing you soon to hear about your catches and stories. We sincerely appreciate all your support. Now, it's time to get out there and catch a fish!
