The North Fork Nehalem has our largest early returning hatchery steelhead release, and we saw a good push of these fish return to the hatchery following the high water. The North Fork is in good condition as of this writing and should be fishable through the week. This is one of the best bets for those trying to find a hatchery steelhead this time of year. 

The North Fork also gets a run of hatchery coho, and while that run is slowing down there are still some bright hatchery coho available through the end of the month. We've seen several hatchery coho this week that were still in great shape and would have made for good table fare.
